7 Solutions for Your Clothing Conundrums
Ever have smelly shoes or tricky zippers? What about a musty throw or broken flip-flops? If you ever face one of these mishaps, be sure to try stylist Janice Meredith‘s tricks!
Tip #1: Wrinkled clothes
Spritz a wrinkled piece of clothing with water and blow-dry it.
Tip #2: Keeping your pant zipper up
Take a keyring and feed it through your zipper pull tab. Pull the zipper up, attach the keyring to your button, and fasten the button.
Tip #3: Untangling necklaces
Use a cotton swab to dab baby oil on the knot in your necklace. Then use a pin to pull apart the links.
Tip #4: Preventing knots in necklaces
To prevent tangles, feed the necklace through a straw and then fasten it.
Tip #5: Broken flip-flops
Use a bread tag under the sole of the flip-flops to keep the thong in place temporarily.
Tip #6: Stinky shoes
Place dried, used tea bags in your shoes to absorb odours. Sprinkle with baby powder, then shake out excess.
Tip #7: Musty blankets
Spritz vodka over musty cloth. The alcohol will kill the spores that are creating the smell.
