5 Clever Parenting Hacks

Parenting Hack 1- Putting shoes on the right foot

Cut a sticker in half and place each side in each shoe. Your child will know from the sticker which shoe goes on which foot.

Parenting Hack 2- Taking medicine

There are plenty of ways to get your child to take his medicine, but this is our favorite. Dip a small lollipop in the medicine and let the child lick/suck it each time you dip it. When the medicine's gone, they can finish the lollipop.

Parenting Hack 3- Keeping cupholders clean

Crumbs and stickiness will become a thing of the past (at least as far as your cup holders are concerned). Insert silicone muffin liners into your cup holders. Easy to remove and wash.

Parenting Hack 4- Containing the craft mess

Keep crafting mess to a contained manageable area.  Line a cookie tray with aluminum foil and have your child craft in it.  No small beads will be rolling around on the floor. And minimal cleanup.

BUT if you do have a big spill, a lint roller is a great way to pick up all those itty bitty pieces.

Parenting Hack 5- No-slip Slippers

It’s slipper season and some kids’ (and all parent slippers) don’t have the non slip bottom. To make any pair non slip, simply hot glue a pattern, name, something on the bottom. After they dry, they are now non-slip!
